  • Use antifungal powder – Dust your feet and inside shoes with medicated or antimicrobial powder.
  • Consider prescription antiperspirants – For excessive sweating, prescription-strength antiperspirants can be applied at night.
  • Disinfect shoes – Use UV shoe sanitizers or sprays to kill bacteria. Remove insoles and wash regularly.
  • Get pedicures – Have hardened skin on heels and calluses removed to eliminate odor traps.
  • Try over-the-counter insoles – Charcoal and other odor-absorbing insoles can soak up excess moisture and smells.
